My family lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I grew up. Dad's a teacher and so is his wife, Bonnie. When I visit I bounce between my father and three sisters, Rebecca, Sarah, and Marian. My mother, Sharon, passed on February of 2000. She was an artist and writer. Her primary venue of expression was through her flower shop, Sunshine and Flowers. It's impossible for me to see a rose or tulip and not feel her love pour through. Rebecca built this site. She's a web designer and consultant. Sarah is an event planner and etiquette coach, following my mother's footsteps. She's a recent Cal Berkeley grad. Marian is a writer persuing a degree in English.

In 1997, at age 15 I said good bye to my "three muses" and parents and headed to boarding school. It was a metaphysically based institution called The Principia- focusing on character education.

In June of 2003, I graduated from Principia College. It's in Elsah, Illinois. I had a great liberal arts education and got a degree in Theatre. My favorite part of college was befriending students from all over the world.

I moved up even further north to Chicago where I worked until the fall of 2005. Having lived in the heartland for almost a decade, I figured it was time to head back. I touched base at home in San Francisco for a few months before relocating permanently to Los Angeles where I now live.
